I spent many years in sales and sales management. Then, sitting in a metal box on a strip of tarmac was no fun anymore and I decided on a total change. I had always been interested in complementary therapy and decided to train as a specialist reflexologist. I chose reflexology because reflexology is well accepted as an effective therapy and has a lot of credibility.
My training was with the Oxford School of Reflexology, a dedicated centre of excellence. After the year's course I passed the examination with distinction and set up in practice.
I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists and comply with its regulations and codes of practise.
For the last eight years I have been fortunate to work in several different clinics with some lovely people.
The results reflexology can achieve never cease to amaze me. Over the years I have incorporated Reiki, acuppressure and energy meridian work into my treatments which seems to make them even more effective.
I am married and have a munsterlander dog called Echo. Echo is 13 years old and is very typical of her breed - is beautiful, talks a lot and always has the last word.
We have one son and two lovely grandchildren. James is 10 and excellent with computers. Emily is 8 and likes shoes!
We recently moved from Beachampton in Buckinghamshire to Carlby, just outside Stamford. We love living here. Stamford is a beautiful town and the countryside around is so pretty.
The one regret is having to leave all my clients, but I am looking forward to developing my practice here and meeting new people.
